Frequent questions

A few things we get asked a lot.

How does a family enroll a new member?+

Fill out the form above with "For my family member or me," or come to our next Summer Open House. We'll schedule a visit, meet your loved one over coffee, and walk through the calendar together.

What disabilities do you serve?+

Adults (22+) across the full range of intellectual and developmental disabilities—including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and combinations of conditions.

What's the cost? Is financial aid available?+

We accept Medicaid waiver funding (NOW, COMP), private pay, and a small number of fully scholarshipped seats every year. No member is turned away for inability to pay.

Do you provide transportation?+

ACEF runs two wheelchair-accessible vans for outings. For daily transport, most members ride MARTA paratransit or come with family.

Can community organizations host a visit?+

Yes—and we love this. Reach out via the form ("I'm a community partner") and we'll set up a 30-minute call.

Where can I see your financials?+

The Impact page has our last three years of 990s, audited financials, and impact reports as PDFs.
